I did say I'll be Bach

Actually, that was a terrible pun. Sorry. At least it's not as bad as this one.

Anyway, I am bach from the holidays, ready to go. I accept no responsibility for okes who may be feeling bleak due to the fact that they had to go to school yesterday. Tough cheese. At least you don't have surprises like this one pulled on you:
Sam switches on phone at 23:30 last night
New message from Guy!
"oi sam where r u u got ur academic jerzy"
Sam replies: "no feth off dude, you cant fool me that easily"
To which: "okay fine ill keep the jerzy then hehe!"

Well, it turns out I did get it. Dammit Guy. And turns out they'll only give it to me at Friday's assembly, so I have a bit of a wait. :( meh

Ah, it's good to be back, I love seeing all my friends again after such a long time away! Especially great to be back in maths class, raucus as always, once again did no work. Dammit Guy. And Sevi...

So, I thought I might as well do something useful and rview all the movies that I managed to watch during my multiple 36-hour ordeals, there and back. And from now on, every day as usual, this shall be the case. Whatever is going through my head, even if it is just the movies I watched, is going on here. Although let's be honest, it's Pops Madness, so by tomorrow I'll be a gibbering wreck.

So, my movie lineup (in no particular order):

Battle: Los Angeles
Two words: Fudge. Yeah. This is a great movie for all fans of apocalypse, war, big guns, "band of heroes", and Tau and 'nid players. The cast is pretty good despite being for the most part nobodies, and manage to do a stirling job in the ultimate battle for Los Angeles against aliens. Non-stop action, with lots of things to shoot wherever you turn! A must watch if you like Black Hawk Down and Sci-Fi. I feel it's kind of meh when the characters get killed off one by one in various different ways, but it doesn't stop the movie from being awesome. Hell, there's no such thing as an unnecessary death. Unless you're watching the Saw, in which case every death is unnecessary :D

UnKnown
What can I say, it's got Liam Neeson in it. Which means that, as usual, a greater part of the movie is spent showing him pwning various bad guys. The storyline is really good as well, keeps you in absolute suspense as Liam attempts to find out who's actually stolen his identity. Very unpredictable, except for the very end (SPOILER: the good guys win!). Berlin provides a stunning backdrop for this awesome action thriller.

Tron: Legacy
I felt that it was very well done in terms of CGI effects and all, and the story was awesome too. It's not perfect because I was provided with so many opportunities to say "Aha! reference, that's reasonably subtle but of course I picked it up!!" Hell, lots of fun to watch, it's good to know that riding a motorbike might save your life sometime! I love the whole concept they've got of the whole "Matrix-like alternate reality" vibe.

True Grit
Yes, the original. Yes, with John Wayne himself. Except for the fact that the heroine looks like Justin Bieber (what. the. dump.), it's a really awesome Western. But don't trust me on that, I don't have much to compare it with. Still, it's a classic plot, classic locations, and of course classic John Wayne quotes. "She reminds me of me!" have to get a list of those... Super arrogant, super must-haves! If you like old movies, this is a must.

Rango
Okay, it was pretty cool, lots of laughs. Watched it as a kind of, you know, will be fun. And it was, damn straight this is one of the best animated movies I've seen. In fact, the second-best, after Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. They never get old, these animated ones.

The King's Speech
Almost forgot this one, it was very good but I expect the climax to be more dramatic. I think he should've spoken to 10 billion people live, and make them start cheering like Hitler. It was very cool to watch though, had it's funny moments, like when they start swearing in between pauses... Legend. At least not all of us find public speaking difficult ;) Joe

Hitler considered, I remember we once spent an entire History lesson discussing the merits of Hitler's speaking style. Well, you know, the man had passion!

All I have to say to y'all readers for now is: enjoy being back at school. It IS the best time of your life!

I sound so old.

I'm only 16.
