Aw yeah City Hall yeah

So, today we (read I) ended up at school for 8 hours, and at the City Hall for another 6. Thus, 14 hours after waking up today, here I am writing this post. My maths is amazing, I know... Given that Guy is commenting on it before it's even up (since he is kind of sitting next to me), I'll probably end up making stupid maths mistakes. Never, ever, copy maths homework off Guy.

Feeling superior to professional musicians after they cannot look at the conductor, multiple times. However,HELP THIS IS SAMS BROTHER GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW respect to being able to pick up your given instrument, and play a piece that we have spent the last like 3 months on. I wish I could sight-read like that... I guess it all comes with time. And practice. Bleh :) Eventually I'm going to have to get back to piano... But for now, I'm liking time alone (and avec certain people too ;) )

Wait, so the City Hall is actually quite an anticlimax... I expected it to be way bigger, especially from the photo hanging up in the music school. I can't believe it only seats like 600 people. And all the tickets are gone already!!

I really love playing in the orchestra, it's so great. If there's one thing I could improve on though, it would be general kit versatility. That way, you can impress absolutely everyone, and not just fans of rock. In fact, you can impress bossa novans, whoever the hell they are.

So, the good news is my week ahead is looking great... No school necessary, nor is it asked for. Lots of music, playing big drums and loud bells. AAAAND time alone with special people. Well, okay, Guy doesn't like being called "a special person", but you know what I mean ;)

Okay, going to eat pancakes. I love food.
