So, thanks Chloe :) I managed to find out the following interesting things that happened on my birthday:
Bob Marley was born
Bob Marley died (!)
Douglas Adams died
The Beagle was launched
Richard Feynman was born
Salvador Dali was born
It is NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DAY. In India. :D
And apparently nothing wiki-worthy happened on my exact birth day. Ah well.
Aaaaaand we also found out that Chloe's birthday is the most popular day for joining the United Nations! Altogether, the Gambia, Maldives, Singapore, Bahrain, Bhutan, Qatar, Seychelles, and Brunei all joined the UN over different years on the same date. Woohoo? I guess. But it may have something to do with it being International Peace Day. I'm jealous :D I won't lie...
We also won a round of The Wiki Game, but we gave up 1 round in after realizing the internet was a bit slow and that for some strange reason, despite being on the "Senate of Canada" page, we hadn't in fact won the Speed Race to the "Senate of Canada" page. Damn you, Wiki Game!
So concludes a day of fun. Which is typical of the internet.
